Description
The Apple II was one of the first computers to be widely used in the USA and was one of the first computers with an external floppy disk drive, unlike the Apple I, the Apple II was not sold as a kit. The Apple II became popular with schools because of Apple’s volume discounts but struggled in the European market. The computer had a wide variety of software such as games and word processors which could be used with the official printer. Many versions of the Apple II were made such as the IIc which was Apple’s first portable computer and the IIe which was more powerful despite a reduced cost.
