The DSi improved on the DS by including two cameras as well as a built in app that would allow people to edit their pictures. The DS was the first Nintendo handheld with an online shop, the games on this shop were refereed to as DSiware games; similarly to the Wii all downloadable games were exclusive to the DSi Shop. Some cartridge games had features exclusive to the DSi and some were outright exclusive, these games had white cartridges; very few of these games were produced. Despite these new features the DSi’s GBA slot was removed which meant some accessories were incompatible. A larger version called the DSi XL came out in 2010.
